The Brinks Commercial Heavy Duty Privacy Lever is designed for doors where added privacy is needed such as bathrooms or changing rooms. The latch bolt is operated by the lever from either side of the door and the outside lever is locked by the turn button on the inside or by the emergency release on the outside lever. Equipped with a tubular chassis for easier installation, the privacy lever will fit wood or metal doors 1-3/8" to 2" thick. The Heavy Duty Privacy Lever features 4-5/8" solid zinc diecast levers, an ANSI Grade 2 rating that's tested to exceed 500,000 cycles, a 3 hour fire rating (UL Listed) and is ADA compliant for commercial or residential use. A T-strike, 4-7/8" ASA strike, mounting hardware, and installation instructions are included.
