The Brinks Commercial Light Duty Privacy Knob is designed for doors where privacy locking is needed. This lockset works on both left- or right-handed doors. It comes with a tubular chassis, making it ideal for commercial or residential applications such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and offices. Fits 1-3/8” to 1-3/4” thick doors with an adjustable latch that fits 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset. Meets ANSI Grade 2 standards, and has a 3-hour UL fire rating. Made from corrosion-resistant steel. Equipped with push-button interior locking mechanism for privacy and can be unlocked by simply rotating the interior knob. Exterior knob has a privacy override for emergency unlocking. Includes T-strike and full lip strike. Easy to install on wood or metal doors and has been tested to exceed 500,000 cycles.
